Oliver

Supervisor

Oliver Sada was born and raised in the south of France, more specifically on the French Riviera in Nice. After taking a 5-week family trip around the US in the early 1980’s, Santa Barbara became his parents’ favorite stop. They loved the ‘American Riviera’ and the small-town, easy-going lifestyle so much, they decided to move the family and settle down a few years later. He and his two brothers attended local schools and Oliver went on to earn his bachelor's degree from UCSB in Geography. He travelled around the globe for one year before starting a family and settling down in Santa Barbara.

During his younger years, Oliver enjoyed building and fixing things. Whether it was building tree houses, surfboard repair, skateboard ramps or helping the trades around the house during remodeling work, his interest and passion only grew. He started his professional career working for a local finish carpentry company in 2000 where he spent the next 18 years honing his skills. Oliver worked on mostly high-end custom homes and some select commercial projects as well. During this time, he worked alongside all the trades and further developed his knowledge and interest of all aspects of construction.

“My favorite thing about this business is that no matter how much you think you know, you still get to learn something new every single day!”

In 2019, he decided it was time to test this knowledge and pursue an opportunity to become a job supervisor/manager. He has since successfully run a dozen variety of projects to completion. Oliver really enjoys being part of the team/family at DD Ford construction and the well-balanced support system it operates under.

In his spare time Oliver enjoys spending time with his four kids and wife around the Santa Barbara neighborhood known as the ‘Mesa’ where he grew up and resides. He enjoys the outdoors but surfing, cycling and mountain biking, swimming, and golf are his favorite hobbies.
