Barry

Project Foreman

Barry comes from a long line of contractors, home builders and carpenters dating back to the 18th century.  After graduating from college in 1972, Barry was hired by his dad to help as an apprentice to do custom homes and to remodel very old historical homes.  What Barry really wanted to do then, is earn enough money and take off and see the country.  Well, he did just that. 41 states, 11,000 miles later and no money, he came home and picked up where he left off.

Now after 39 years in home construction, Barry has gained a thorough knowledge in everything from drafting, framing, and finishing to cabinetry , custom furniture making, and being a general foreman.

For the past 13 years, as an employee for DD Ford Construction Barry has expressed his appreciation in that, "The company seeks out and uses employee talents and encourages them to learn and share those gifts with others."

Barry has one son, a step son and 4 grandchildren. He likes to hike in the back country, do video production and build furniture for the home.
