of the client, design team and builder. During the design development
process, D. D. Ford Construction will provide input on building
assemblies, materials, products, budget and functionality. This
pre-construction service is a key component in managing the
balance and creativity of each design, with a clear perspective
on how each detail relates to the vision of the design team
and client. We find this process to be fun and rewarding for
all participants, creating a foundation for the project team
to successfully move forward into the building phase.
Once the project is underway, the D.D. Ford team works diligently
to manage the construction budget, schedule, and decisions to
ensure efficiency and quality during the project's building
phase. Using sophisticated project management systems coupled
with proactive, caring personnel, we transform the two dimensional
design into three dimensional reality. During this process the
design team and client are kept informed with regular project
review letters noting milestones and project progress. Project
team meetings are held on a regular basis, maintaining the energy
and focus developed during the pre-construction phase.
After project completion, D. D. Ford facilitates owner move
in by maid cleaning the project and providing owner orientation
of all home systems and products. Upon move in, clients may
opt for D. D. Ford to provide year-round home maintenance and
services for small projects that is custom tailored to their
specific needs.
